We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead our new 2-bed children’s home in Romford. This role is ideal for a compassionate and experienced individual who is committed to providing exceptional care and creating a nurturing environment for children.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the children’s home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the children.
  • Develop and implement care plans that cater to the individual needs of the children.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a team of care professionals, promoting continuous professional development.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards set by governing bodies.
  • Manage budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, families, and external agencies.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure high standards of care and professional growth.
  • Handle any emergencies that arise, providing leadership and stability for both staff and children.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s home.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory requirements and standards in child care.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and a genuine passion for child welfare.
  • Relevant qualifications in social work, child care, or related field.
