Pertemps driving division are looking for HGV 1 drivers to join our team within the Telford and Shropshire region to cover weekly and last-minute bookings.

The roles will entail and not limited to:
Conducting daily/weekly pre-journey safety checks, ensuring the truck remains in a safe, roadworthy condition.
Driving various heavy goods vehicles with a variety of trailers depending on the load.
General haulage work
Internal and external deliveries, Depot to depot deliveries/collections.
Handball can be involved.
Strapping loads
Trunking work
Trailer swapping
Yard shunting/movements To be considered for this HGV 1 driver role you will need:

Category C+E entitlement (MUST OF HELD FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS)
6 Months experience driving C+E vehicle
Valid Tacho and DQC cards
Friendly, professional, and dedicated to great customer service
An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace
Flexible approach to work and willingness to support when needed
PAYE OnlyBenefits:

Flexible working hours
Ongoing assignmentsPAYE PAY:
£15.00 - £25.50 - dependant on shifts day and time
