Salary: £65000 - £70000/annum + package

Client: We are representing one of the leading and oldest Contractors in the game, with more than 135+ years of experience, they're one of the largest development and construction companies globally and operate across select markets internationally in Europe & America. Role: Mechanical Construction Manager

The successful candidate will report into a project manager and will be responsible for assisting with the management of projects from £10m - £50m Mechanical value.

Role/Responsibilities:

* Management of subcontractor labour

* Attend site meetings

* Progress reports

* Prepare contract documents I.e. method statements, risk assessments, RFI's, etc.

* Health and safety

* Review and amend RAMS

* Red pen design reviews

* Snagging

* Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project

* Co-ordinate all Mechanical site activities with all other site operations.

* Proactive management of Health and Safety on site.

* Solve site problems when they occur, providing feedback to Project Managers on any defects or defaults found and put forward any innovative ideas to alter current methodology..

* Work collaboratively with the project team and other contractors, subcontractors works packages to achieve the overall project goals

* Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficiently

The ideal candidate:

* Experience in Mechanical Engineering

* Proven experience in overseeing/engineering of Mechanical packages.

* Formal H&S training accreditations, minimum SMSTS

* Experience and Knowledge in relation to the correct testing and commissioning of complete MEPH installations
