We are currently working with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £350m and a strong national presence across sectors who are looking for a senior electrical project engineer to join their business to deliver a notable £18m M&E life science project in Oxford.

Reporting to a senior PM, you will get involved in pre-construction, managing a talented team before going to site towards the end of this year to lead the electrical package from a technical and management perspective to PC.

Role/Responsibilities: • Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants) • Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant • Technical submittals • RFIs - Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors • Value Engineering where applicable • Programming of works - using MS Project or Asta project • Health & Safety management (RAMs) • Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey. • Management of variations • Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors) • Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings • Overseeing commissioning stages • Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover The ideal candidate:
