We are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant / Finance Manager to take sole charge of our accountancy function up to trial balance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on financial management without the responsibility of team leadership. You will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting tasks.
Day-to-day of the role: - Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle up to trial balance, including VAT submissions, payroll, accruals, audits, postings, journals, costings, and cash flow management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely processing of payroll.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Management Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar role.
- Strong ability to handle the complete accountancy function up to trial balance independently.
- Proficient in VAT submissions, payroll processing, and creating financial statements.
- Experience with financial audits and the preparation of reports.
- Proficiency in Xero and other financial software.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CIMA or ACCA) is preferred.
