The successful candidate will be working in a thriving school that motivates both students and staff to excel. As part of their academic excellence, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Business Studies teacher to teach students in Key Stages 3,4 and 5.

The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of business concepts, excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and ensure students achieve their full potential in business studies.

Plan and deliver business study lessons
Implement schemes that encompasses the National Curriculum
Assess, record and report on the progress and development of students
Create a positive environment that students can learn and participate
Provide support and guidance to aid in the development of students
Manage teaching assistants within the classroom
Attend departmental meetings and parents' eveningsQualifications:

Teaching Qualification (QTS): Bachelor of Education/PGCE or an equivalent teaching degree.
A degree in Business studies or a related field
Experience teaching GCSE and A-level students
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and examination requirements
Adaptability and flexibility, approaching work with an optimistic educational perspective
Hold a DBS who is registered online with the DBS update service or be willing to apply for one
