We are seeking an Operations Manager to enhance operational efficiency across our client, a dynamic property consultancy. This role is crucial for ensuring that all departments including property management, facilities management, and accounts operate effectively. The ideal candidate will have a background in property/professional services, with a proven ability to drive operational excellence and support strategic business objectives.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the smooth operation of core business departments, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and client expectations.
  • Manage the accounts department/team, overseeing budgets, cash flow, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain adherence to legal, regulatory, and health & safety requirements across all business activities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to boost business performance.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and operational costs effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Facilitate collaboration among department heads and team members to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Lead operational staff, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Ensure all key target dates and deadlines are met promptly.
  • Support client relationships by maintaining high levels of service and operational efficiency.
  • Implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an Operations Management role, ideally within real estate or professional services.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing processes, budgets, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, lease structures, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to implement and manage digital tools for operational efficiency.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
