About UsOur client is a well established, employee owned firm of Chartered Financial Planners based in Central Manchester. They specialise in providing tailored financial planning solutions to HNW private clients and businesses, mainly across the North-West.

Role OverviewThey are currently seeking an IFA Administrator to provide tailored one-to-one support to advisers within their growing team. You’ll be involved in a range of tasks, from processing new business applications to product research and writing client communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing new business applications and client requests
  • Conducting fund and product research using Adviser Asset and FE Analytics
  • Preparing valuation reports and obtaining pre-sale documentation
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and collating information from providers
  • Writing advice and execution-only letters
  • Supporting and training other Adviser Support and Administration staff

Requirements: Essential:

  • Minimum of GCSE grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues

Desirable:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) environment
  • A degree in a financial services-related field (e.g., Economics, Finance)
  • Understanding of pensions, investments, and protection products
  • Experience using platforms like Standard Life, AJ Bell, and Aviva
  • Working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
