I am currently recruiting on behalf of a property development and regional regeneration company with an excellent reputation and build quality standard based within the South West area. The company has really grown over the last few years and they currently have 4 sites that require a new contract manager to join and manage. They seek an experienced contract manager to join the business on a permanent basis, ideally looking to start ASAP.

You will be employed on a permanent basis as a contract manager, with the salary ranging between £80k-£87k p/a + package DOE. Your day to day responsibilities include: working closely with the surveying and buying team, ordering materials, customer liaison, chairing meetings, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met, overseeing 4 sites to start with, looking at cost effective methods to minimise spending to budget, negotiating contracts and generally day to day running of the site to ensure site team are supported.

You must have relevant experience within housing as a contract manager, you must be organised, have strong communication skills and be highly pro-active in your work ethic. They are looking for somebody who is a strong leader, takes ownership, takes pride in quality that they build, and somebody who is confident when dealing with clients or stakeholders. You must have relevant management qualifications to be considered for this role.
