Our Client:

A leading manufacturer of steel, titanium and aluminium components for the automotive industry.

Job Role/Duties:

To provide support with all aspects of electrical maintenance of all machinery, tooling and associated equipment across the shop floor, and provide technical support to the business operation.
To ensure machinery and equipment is fully operational to prevent and production down-time
Monitor machine KPI and availability to meet customer demands are met on time and at the right quality
To provide first line support and training to the maintenance and facilities team, including managing absenteeism, holidays, overtime etc
Develop and analyse the business through the agreed business systems.
Identify & implement improvement projects through robust PDCA incorporating preventative maintenance.
Support effective budget spend
Assist the Operations Manager in developing a cross-functional support team.
To drive a continuous improvement programme
Liaise with suppliers externally and internally as necessary

The Candidate:

Proven experience in managing technical functions within the industry
Proven experience of supervisory or management experience
HNC or Equivalent Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification
Knowledge of working ISO
18th Edition Electrical Certified
PLC Programming & Fault finding knowledge (Siemens & Mitsubishi)
Robot programming and Integration
Preventive Maintenance Planning (In-depth experience of PM planning and lean manufacturing)
Excellent analytical & Practical problem solving skills.
