The Firm:With over 50 years of experience, this well-established firm has a strong reputation for providing high-quality professional services. They are a 8 Partner, 6 Director firm with a headcount of over 100 employees across two offices. Their London office, located, features modern open-plan offices with a welcoming and collaborative environment-complete with a foosball table in the kitchen area!
As part of an international network, they have global reach, including quarterly international seminars in locations such as Canada and Amsterdam which are attended by the Partners.
The firm has a diverse client base, working with sectors including Barristers, IT consultants, Property Investment, Healthcare, Non-Resident Landlords, and UK subsidiaries of international groups. Their Accounting Solutions team consists of 30 professionals,
The Accounts Senior Role:
As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in the Accounting team, managing a diverse client portfolio that includes SMEs, sole traders, partnerships, and large corporates. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparation and review of statutory accounts and management accounts for a range of businesses.* Leading client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on accounting and financial matters.* Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns prepared by junior team members.* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and best practices.* Working with cloud-based accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and CCH.* Supervising and mentoring junior staff, supporting their development.* Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.

About You:
* Fully qualified ACA or ACCA.* Strong experience in an accountancy practice, ideally 3+ years post-qualification.* Confident in accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts.* Proficient in cloud-based accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and CCH.* Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.* Experience supervising and mentoring junior team members.* Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
