Role Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
  • Managing a portfolio of clients including business owners, HNWIs, and SMEs
  • Providing advice on a variety of tax matters including capital allowances, CGT, IHT, and employment taxes
  • Supporting clients with HMRC enquiries and correspondence
  • Identifying planning opportunities and assisting with advisory projects
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and best practice
  • Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work as required

Candidate Requirements
  • ATT qualified or working towards CTA (QBE candidates also considered)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a tax-focused role within practice
  • Strong knowledge of UK personal and corporate tax compliance
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work across multiple client files
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Experience using accounting/tax software (e.g., CCH, Sage, Xero) is desirable
