We are an innovative renewable energy company experiencing high growth, with an impressive turnover of £350 million. Backed by a leading energy firm, we are currently in the market for an experienced Group Financial Controller. This is a newly created role offering an outstanding opportunity to participate in the active growth of our business.
As the Group Financial Controller, you will manage a small team and play a critical role in consolidating and reporting our finances. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in implementing a new ERP system and have the rare opportunity to build a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function in the future.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the group's finance function, including the management and development of a small dedicated team.
- Lead the process of group consolidations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Deliver on all statutory reporting requirements.
- Drive the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring an effective transition.
- Develop and implement strong financial controls and procedures.
- Have the vision and responsibility to build an FP&A function.
Desired Qualifications:
- ACA qualification
- Proven experience in a similar role within a sizable organization.
- Experience within the energy/renewable/construction sector is desirable but not essential.
- Strong technical accounting skills paired with solid experience in group consolidations and statutory reporting.
- Experience in managing teams and implementing ERP systems (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills.

Salary
£90,000 - £110,000 depending on experience as well as 25% bonus.
