We are looking for a fantastic Qualified Locum Pharmacy Dispenser/Assistant to work with our outpatient hospital pharmacy client in the West Midlands area. If you’re looking for your next challenge, congratulations! You’ve just found it! Info below: 

• Job Title: Locum Pharmacy Dispenser/Assistant required ASAP!
• Location: West Midlands 
• Duration: Ongoing! 
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (part time WILL also considered) 9.00am - 5.30pm (30 mins lunch)
• Start Date: ASAP - June 2024 
• Rate of pay: £14 - £17.50 per hour depending on prior experience
• Dispensing Qualification is a requirement to be cosidered!! 

A Day in the Life of a Hospital Pharmacy Dispenser/Assistant:

As a specialist dispenser, you will play a crucial role assisting across the hospital outpatients dispensary team. 

• No prior hospital experience required - training will be given here! 
• Dispensing duties in the outpatients dispensary
• Assisting with dispensing prescriptions and medications 
• Looking after the pharmacy stores area where stock is kept
• There could be some stock ordering work required here too 
• Other general dispensary tasks likely  

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

• Some form of prior pharmacy work experience
• Some form of dispensing qualification is required 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Working hours and contract duration:

This position will require you to work from Monday to Friday, but hours can be flexible. The contract is ongoing (start date June 2024) with a potential to extend.
