Salary: circa £26,590 + use of company van for work purpose only

The Role:

We are looking for you to carry out a full range of leak detection activities whilst providing a first-class service to our customers. Responding to alarms and changes in statistical data, you'll have a fully equipped van, the training necessary to conduct the work, and travel to the areas within the water network where potential leaks have been identified in order to locate and move them to be resolved within agreed timescales.

This is a reactive and proactive field-based role; you'll support with planned maintenance and be the first on the scene to identify unexpected leaks. You'll be trained to use specialist electronic means and data to locate hidden leaks on the water network. When you join the team, you'll be provided with plenty of hands-on training and job shadowing and work towards becoming NRSWA accredited & LTO trained (licence to operate).

  • Utilize a fully equipped van and receive comprehensive training to conduct on-site work.
  • Travel to specific areas within the water network where potential leaks have been identified, resolving them within agreed timescales.

You have a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in continuous learning are essential. Good customer service skills and proficiency in using IT equipment like tablets and mobile phones are crucial. Along with, team-oriented attitude, coupled with practical skills and a customer-focused mindset.
