Cover Supervisors needed to work in secondary schools in the Ashford, Kent area with both long-term contracts and ad-hoc daily cover available.  Full time and part time cover supervisor work available in Ashford.

A Cover Supervisor will provide a vital service to their school during times of need and are critical to the running of a successful school.  A cover supervisor will provide general cover across multiple subjects by delivering pre-prepared lessons and supervising classes completing their work.  A cover supervisor will monitor safeguarding concerns, provide pastoral care and manage behaviour in a classroom setting.

Cover Supervisors can come from a range of backgrounds including experienced TAs, HLTAs, TEFL teachers, graduates looking at a career in education, sports coaches, dance and drama teachers, overseas trained or experienced teachers and qualified teachers looking to reduce their workload.

In order to qualify as a cover supervisor, you will need: 

• A DBS registered to the update service (support available)
• Permission to work in the UK
• Experience working with children in some format
• References to a good standard
