Our Client is a Mechanical & Electrical company based in Washington .

For over 40 Years they have provided building services contracting from design and building to traditional projects to clients in both the private and public sectors.

​Providing extensive experience in M&E installations for a diverse range of projects up to the value of £1.5 Million.

They have a long serving management team adept at planning, developing, costing and delivering projects on all scales from small works up to new university colleges and pharmaceutical plants.

The management team are backed up by a directly-employed, highly skilled workforce which include qualified electricians, data installers, plumbers and heating engineers.

Taking pride in building long-term relationships with clients and have a reputation for delivering a complete mechanical and electrical package starting at early concept stage all the way through to completion.

There is a permanent opportunity for an Electrical Contracts Manager to join the team.

You will be required to work closely with clients and to oversee projects of all sizes, With extensive experience and in-depth industry and technical knowledge, and ensure that all projects are delivered, on time and on budget.

Will be responsible for:

* Producing accurate estimations in the agreed time frame

* Working in line with contractual arrangements.

* Fully participate in the management of all incoming enquiries.

* Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates for resources required to carry out works in accordance with programme.

* Reading and understanding architects/ consultants' drawings to assess the scope of works

* Doing full estimates / quotations and responding to tenders with project pricing

* Obtaining quotations for any works that need to be subcontracted

* Responsible for all changes and variations to pricing prior to contract award

* Monitoring of variations to original price with contracts and managers

* Liaison with clients / directors/ contracts managers/ projects managers in weekly meetings
