My client is looking for an Ecology / BNG Officer to help shape greener, more sustainable spaces.

💰 £50p/hr + DOE | Inside IR35
🌍 Hybrid / Remote working options

The Role
• Lead on Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments and strategy.
• Provide expert ecological advice on planning applications.
• Work closely with developers, planners, and stakeholders to secure positive environmental outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.

What We're Looking For

✔ Strong ecology / BNG experience in a local authority or consultancy setting.
✔ Good knowledge of UK planning policies and environmental legislation.
✔ Ability to review reports, advise on mitigation, and champion biodiversity.
✔ A keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for making a difference.
