Kirklees are looking to recruit an Adult Social Worker.

• Experience in Adult Social Work in a statutory setting is essential.
• Experience in completing care act compliant assessments and reviews is essential.
• Experience in undertaking mental capacity assessments and best interest decisions is essential.
• A good understanding and working knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and practically applying this, and the eligibility criteria.
• Good understanding of adult safeguarding legislation and ability to apply this to practice and protect vulnerable adults, essential.
• Experience in working to timescales and achieving targets.
• Being able to implement a strength based approach to assessment and care planning, utilising assistive technology, community resources and partner agencies, whilst taking a person-centred approach, is essential also.
• It would be desirable but not essential (as training will be given) if any candidate has experience using our current case management system, Mosaic.
