Pastoral Support Officer

Are you a Behaviour/ Pastoral Specialist looking for a new challenge in an SEMH School within Accrington ?

Tradewind are currently working in a partnership with a Alternative Provision in the Accrington area to recruit an experienced Pastoral Support Officer with strong behaviour management to start with them on a full-time basis as soon as possible - July 2025 5 days a week 8.30am - 3.20pm Monday - Thursday and Friday a 2.20pm finish with the view of going permanent.

This Alternative Provision caters for KS4 - KS4 pupils. You shall be required to work closely with pupils across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.

As a Pastoral Support Officer you will be required to -

Deliver 1-2-1
Work alongside the behavioural Manager
Home visits
Attendance
PastoralWe are looking for:

An experienced Pastoral Support Officer /Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

Recent experience in a similar setting.
Dedication to making a positive impact with all students.
Knowledge and understanding of working with pupils that have EHC Plans and Social and Emotional Behaviour Difficulties.
Team Teach Trained desirableThis Alternative Provision is based in Acrington and is close to motorway links, additionally if you are travelling by public transport there is a bus stop outside the school.
