Job Description

Ensures compliance with business operating system.
Developing & maintaining the Health & Safety standards on site.
Providing the business with an extensive engineering technical knowledge.
Ensures site infrastructure is maintained.
Perform all necessary plans Start up Procedures and Shutdown Procedures.
Perform all necessary daily, monthly, annual, or biannual checks.
Participate in Business Improvement events, the businesses continuous improvement tool.
Completion of the Preventative Maintenance plan.
Develops site services to improve machine downtime.
Operate Engineering Department machinery.
Liaise with BI Team ensuring Document changes to Standard Operating Procedures.
Report any Health & Safety hazards or discrepancies to the Engineering Supervisor. 
Qualifications/ Experience/Skills

Time-served apprentice / HNC Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years working within a manufacturing environment
Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work on own initiative and under pressure.
