Procurement Officer | £29,000 | North-East | 1 day per week on-site | 12-Month FTC |Public Sector

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in the North-East to recruit a Procurement Officer to join the team on a fixed-term basis.

The role offers an attractive benefits package and a hybrid working policy; with the requirement to attend the office 1 day per week, with the other 4 days working from home.

Role:

• Lead a number of low value/low risk procurement projects with support
• Provide support for a range of key supplier reviews
• Ensure all procurement documentation is completed and approved within the required timescales

Individual:

• Experience within a procurement team in the public or private sector
• An understanding of commercial cost improvement initiatives
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience of working in challenging complex environments
