What's a typical day for the Finance Business Partner, Interim?

This is a prime role in our FP and A team to business partner with key departments and report on their performance, delivering to the Execs. This role will involve identifying performance trends and providing keen analysis and insights, aligning with our business strategy and budgets. You'll have opportunities to assist more widely with business cases and projects where needed, utilising the business partner skillset to support the financial ratification. Key duties will include: provision of insights and analysis to the financial reporting, building relationships with the wider business to make informed decisions. You'll identify operational risks and opportunities, seeking improvements to internal reporting and work with key stakeholders on business cases. You will provide input into the delivery of weekly trade reporting, reviewing variances and challenging budget holders, supporting the Senior BPs and Financial Controller on an ad-hoc basis.

You'll already have:

  • Relevant business partnering experience, with the ability to evidence relevant experience against several of the accountable areas listed above.
  • Strong inter-personal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively to a wide group of stakeholders.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate large data sets into functional outputs.
  • Strong reporting skills, bringing the numbers to life and telling the story.
  • Time spent working in an industry role.
  • Not essential, but working knowledge of a high value, high churn asset base would be beneficial.
