Job descriptionSenior Controlling Accountant l Middlesbrough | Qualified/PQ | Manufacturing | Hybrid WorkingJob Overview:Axon Moore are delighted to be working for a rapidly growing, international business who are looking for a Senior Controlling Accountant to support key finance projects as part of their Middlesbrough team. Working alongside the Financial Head and EMEA Controlling Head this will be a busy and varied role.The role will be responsible for Statutory reporting and ensuring compliance, management of the relationship with the outsourced accounting team, including leading the plan to transfer activities over.You will provide robust Financial Accounting, generate and ensure integrity of Key Reports and have responsibility for compliance with Financial Management Framework.As the lead on implementation of financial internal controls you will ensure compliance to group’s standard.In return you will work within an open and collaborative team and you will be provided with a supportive environment to help you succeed and grow in your role.The ideal candidate will be Part-qualified/Qualified CIMA / ACCA and a Degree in Accounting or Finance (Preferred not essential), Ideally 4 years of experience in Accounting or Controlling and have experience in implementing and maintaining strong internal controls.Knowledge requirements:
•             Advanced MS Office, esp. Excel
•             Good understanding of ERP systems
•             English language

  • Drive harmonization and standardization of reporting and finance processes within the business
  • Support follow-up of internal audit and external audit items and finance action items
  • Support monthly closing process, including preparing management analysis and reports
  • Ad-Hoc reporting as required
  • Key role in implementing and testing business internal controls
