Pre-Construction Project Manager - Milton Keynes

Salary - up to £65,000 (DOE) + Mileage + More

Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5 (Flexible + Hybrid working)

Pre-Construction Project Manager (Consultancy) - TXM Recruit is currently looking for a Project Manager with extensive pre-construction experience to join a national leading construction consultancy. The Project Manager will be working on a range of commercial and retail fit out contracts.

The Project Manager will need to report into the Milton Keynes office 2 times a week and the rest of the time they can work from home. The Project manager must be able to visit sites when needed (sites are nationwide and occasional stay aways are expected).

Pre-Construction Project Manager duties -

* Overseeing and assisting with the preparation of all construction documents, including plans, specifications, heads of terms and contracts.

* Managing project risks and ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to mitigate those risks.

* Developing project budgets and schedules, including detailed cost estimates and construction schedules.

* Attending site visits and client meetings to assess project feasibility and identify any potential challenges.

* Must have knowledge and understanding of AFLs, shell spec negotiations, heads of terms etc

Candidate specification -

* Must have consultancy experience or have main contractor experience

* Ideally have basic legal knowledge

* Pre Construction experience is a must - candidates without this will be unsuccsessful

* For top end of salary, will need to have 10 years relevant experience
