The role:

As HR & Compliance manager you will report into the Social Care Manager and wider SMT and form part of the wider QPE (Quality, Personnel & Experience) Team. You will have a passion for HR and enjoy supporting the business operationally from the ground up.

A solid HR generalist and a true problem solver, you will seek improvements where needed and enjoy owning a process from start to end. You will support with process improvements and specific projects. You will need to be assertive and be able to challenge in a professional manner whilst maintaining positive working relationships. The nature of this role requires a collaborative approach and demonstrable experience of working as part of a team.

You will be CIPD qualified with generalist HR experience and will ideally have gained your experience from within a Healthcare environment or SME. Our client will consider someone who is a seasoned HR Advisor or someone who is looking for a development role. Full support will be provided.

The purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive and best practice HR service to the business. Acquire, maintain, and develop employees to ensure that the company has the required skills and competencies to achieve its objectives.
Who we are looking for:
· Experience working in a HR Advisor/Generalist role who had HR and recruitment support - CIPD Level 5 desirable
· Proficient user of MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
· Understanding of HRIS systems
· Strong attention to detail and highly organised
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
· Confident approach and a willingness to support colleagues and collaborate with the wider team
· The ability to work autonomously and be a strong team player is essential for this role.
· Candidates must have examples of demonstrating an ability to influence, persuade, and coach managers
· Problem solver, with ability to think out of the box and multi-task
· Experience of the full recruitment process including interviewing and assessment is advantageous.
· Experience of providing ER advice to Managers

Core responsibilities

Building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
Being the first point of contact for HR queries, working alongside and supporting the SMT
Supporting through the employee life cycle on both an advisor and administrative capacity
Onboarding of both permanent and temporary employees including, right to work checks, referencing, offer letter, contract of employment and IT Set up
Holding exit Interviews & Interpreting exit interview data to identify areas for improvement, articulating trends and supporting with recommendations
Manage allocated recruitment from vacancy approval to issuing of employment contracts.
Composing and posting job adverts / job descriptions & processing Job applications
Managing employee relations cases and working with managers to coach and guide on processes.
Provide interview support to line managers as and when required.
Attending meetings and taking notes in meetings including disciplinaries
Management and ownership of internal HR systems and all personnel files & Inputting data into the HRIS system and keeping employee records up to date. Ensuring GDPR guidelines are adhered to in relation to storage and retention.
Oversee all internal HR systems & provide basic HR analytics and management information as required. Ensuring data is up to date to allow for monthly KPI reporting.
Assisting with absence management reporting and ensuring the correct data is collated, recorded and breaches in policies are highlighted.
Coaching and supporting people managers with performance concerns, probation extensions, sickness management etc. & supporting senior management with more complex employee relations cases
Where appropriate liaising with the HR department for more complex advice
Participate in developing organisational guidelines and procedures. Updating HR policies in line with legislation changes.
Support local HR related projects and participate in cross functional activities & provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on all HR policies.
Supporting various office incentives across the organisation to improve performance, productivity, boost morale and increased job satisfaction, leading to monitoring the progress of colleagues against specific incentives.
Conduct engagement surveys, provide analysis and work with managers to make improvements,
Create a focus on wellbeing for colleagues, highlighting the benefits that support colleagues and working with managers to ensure a proactive approach.
Support employee relations activities, engaging with colleagues and ensuring open dialogue on company changes and plan.Stakeholder Focused

· Raise quality concerns and related risks with the relevant people and re-evaluate to ensure improvements have been made
· Agree with others how practice could develop to improve quality and provide the appropriate support as service changes

Clinical Governance

· Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and clinical guidelines for self and others
· Continually monitor standards of care and contribute to improvement of care, through benchmarking, audit and research.
· Communicate effectively and share best practice with the multidisciplinary team & others
· To be aware of duties and responsibilities in relation to clinical risk management
