We are proud to announce our partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Council to recruit a Performance and Improvement Manager within their Adult Social Care department. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to shape and lead the council's performance and improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous development of services and practices across the Adult Social Care division.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Leadership: Lead the development and delivery of a robust Adult Social Care performance management framework, ensuring alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements. Provide strategic advice to the Director, Assistant Directors, and Heads of Service.

Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement within Adult Social Care services, including preparation for CQC inspections, peer reviews, and statutory assessments.
Data & Reporting: Provide timely, evidence-based analysis and reports for senior management, ensuring all accountability requirements are met.

Strategy Development: Lead on the development of departmental strategies, policies, and procedures, including performance frameworks, equalities strategies, and service planning.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, regional groups, and service users.

Learning & Development: Promote a learning culture within the department, ensuring that training programs meet practitioners' needs and contribute to the improvement of service standards.

About You:

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a strong background in performance management and improvement, ideally within adult social care or a related public service environment. You will be experienced in leading complex projects, providing strategic direction, and using data-driven insights to inform policy and decision-making.

You'll also need:

Proven experience in performance management, quality improvement, and strategic planning.
Strong knowledge of statutory requirements in adult social care.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
A track record of successfully managing change and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the role.
