The Role

As a Cross Key Stage Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work across different key stages, supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education.

Assist with interventions to support pupils with their academic and personal development.

Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.

Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to plan and implement effective teaching strategies.

Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting learning activities and providing tailored support to meet individual student needs.

Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.

Facilitating interventions and booster sessions to help students achieve their learning goals.

Promoting positive behavior and a supportive learning environment.

Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Requirements

Experience working with children across various key stages.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.

A patient and empathetic approach to working with children.

Relevant qualifications in education or a related field (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ, etc.).
