A large and rapidly growing Lloyd's Managing Agent that is going through significant change to its corporate structure & profile is looking for a talented individual to join their FP&A team in this managerial role.

The FP&A and Business Partnering Team is the analytical heartbeat of the Finance team and they are aiming building a finance function like no other in the insurance industry, driving business insight, supporting strategic planning and contributing to future initiatives as set out by the Leadership team. The role requires developing influential relationships across the entirety of the business, including finance, underwriting, risk, actuarial and technology.

The role holder will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all aspects of financial planning & reporting, performance management, management reporting and investor communications across the agency, including the Syndicate, the group and all corporate structures.

The role will encompass the delivery of timely and insightful analysis of the drivers behind each component of business performance. The role will also encompass planning for all entities, working with senior stakeholders and investors to agree compelling and achievable plans for new and existing operating structures.

The role holder will have responsibility for the delivery of group (and subsidiary entity) P&L and Balance sheet analysis, ensuring accuracy and a clear understanding of the key drivers of performance.

The ideal candidate will be a commercially minded accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a deep understanding of the drivers of commercial insurance. You will need to have worked in a non-life insurance company (ideally Lloyd's) and will have a good grasp of insurance & reinsurance P&L's.
