My client are looking for an experienced Cloud and Storage Services Team Lead to provide technical team leadership and service delivery expertise to an established infrastructure team supporting a complex cloud, storage and backup environment (including IBM Storage Protect, CrashPlan, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services).

The successful applicant will lead on service design, service delivery and service management for all systems underlying their cloud, storage and backup environment. Responsibilities will include contributing to the management of a move to a new private cloud storage platform, including the development and communication of service offerings.

This role requires extensive experience of managing technical teams, ideally with a strong demonstrable background in leading teams supporting virtual infrastructure and storage. Experience of working in an ITIL environment is highly desirable, allied with strong stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to manage a diverse team of technical and non-technical staff.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Team Leader, who can work at a strategic level to define IT service operations in order to deliver service improvements, as well as the day to day management of a technical team. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability positively influence a wide range of direct reports and work effectively with senior stakeholders.

This role allows for hybrid working with a weekly presence onsite required.
