Are you a passionate History teacher looking for your next full-time opportunity? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school in Rotherham, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History teacher to join their team from September.

About the Role: As a History teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and informative lessons that inspire students and foster a love for history. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality history lessons in line with the national curriculum
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of all students
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Engage with parents, carers, and colleagues to support the holistic development of students
Participate in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities, contributing to the vibrant school communityThe Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a relevant degree and a UK-recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS)
Have experience teaching History at secondary school level, ideally up to GCSE
Be passionate about history and committed to inspiring students to achieve their best
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a positive, student-centered approach
