We are hiring a Reactive Maintenance Manager for a leading provider of property maintenance and facilities services. This is an office-based role, where you will oversee the efficient planning, scheduling, and reporting of all reactive maintenance activities. If you have a background in maintenance management, facilities operations, or work scheduling, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a key leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Work Planning & Scheduling

* Prioritise and schedule reactive maintenance tasks to ensure timely resolution.

* Allocate resources, labour, and materials to meet project requirements.

* Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers for smooth execution.

Operations & Reporting

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and costs.

* Prepare detailed reports on completed tasks, outstanding issues, and KPIs.

* Analyse data to identify trends and improve processes.

Communication & Coordination

* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and internal teams.

* Provide regular updates to senior management on maintenance status.

* Respond to urgent requests, adjusting schedules as needed.

Compliance & Quality Control

* Ensure all activities comply with company policies and health & safety regulations.

* Monitor work quality to ensure it meets required standards.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

* Background in maintenance supervision, facilities management, or related field.

* Understanding of reactive maintenance processes and best practices.

* Proficient in maintenance management software (SimPro preferred).

* Strong scheduling and work allocation skills.

* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.

* Strong verbal and written communication for liaising with clients and teams.

* Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

* Relevant qualifications in management, maintenance, or facilities (preferred).

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
