Role location: Croydon, London

Spec:

• Issue management and responding to issues raised by existing Home Office teams and tooling.
• Triage and root cause analysis of issues.
• Remediation of issues through configuration or data changes.
• Remediation of issues through code fixes and bug fixes delivered through existing processes and pipelines.
• Management of production as well as non-production instances of services.
• Service improvement work to reduce the effort of support for the platform, as prioritised.
• Continuous improvement work, as prioritised.
• Support of existing development and delivery teams.
• Ongoing knowledge transition of an evolving platform to facilitate future support.
• All required transitions of service support between both PA teams and resources, as well as other suppliers and internal Home Office teams.

Technical skills requirements for developers and support engineers:

Dev

• Java 8-17 (micro service system architecture)
• Activiti BPM framework
• Spring/Spring Boot, Guice
• Kafka
• PostgreSQL
