We need a Technical Sales Engineer for a Mechanical Engineering company based in Reading.

The company supplies its customers with Riveting solutions, Press systems and Screwdriving solutions.

We will consider candidates with specific sales or service engineer/application engineer experience; if you are a mechanical engineer interested in transitioning into sales, this could be the job opportunity for you. The Technical Sales Engineer position is site-based and works Monday through Friday, with travel required when attending and booking client visits/meetings. The candidate must have a driving licence.

Technical Sales Engineer The salary is £32,000 - £38,000 + Annual bonus.

The area of responsibility includes:

Technical support of the General Manager reporting directly to him

Targeting customers for sales.

Carry out machine trials to select the correct machine for the application

Prepare a detailed trial report

Discuss the machine trials with the customer

Prepare a detailed quotation and present this to the customer

Be involved in the machine acceptance trials with the customer

Follow up on any after-sales requirements
