Duties and tasks of the Management Accountant:

• Responsible for the production of month end close process
• Management accounts budget preparation and forecasting
• Detailed KPI and variance analysis with commentary
• Preparation of financial summary and create packs for the Board
• Payroll journals and control account reconciliations
• Assist with internal and external audit

Profile

Experience required as the Management Accountant:

• Experience in discussing budgets and forecasts and presenting figures to budget holders
• Excellent communication skills
• Desirable - experience in the not for profit, public sector company or keen to enjoy working for a values led organisation
