Key Responsibilities:

Patient Preparation: Assist patients in preparing for endoscopy procedures by ensuring they are comfortable, informed, and ready for the procedure. This includes taking pre-procedure observations (e.g., blood pressure, pulse, temperature) and ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.

Assisting in Procedures: Support the clinical team during endoscopic procedures by preparing equipment, ensuring the sterile field is maintained, and assisting in positioning patients. Ensure that all tools and materials are ready and available for the procedure.

Monitoring Patient Vital Signs: Observe and monitor patients before, during, and after the procedure to identify any changes in their condition. Record vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing or medical team promptly.

Post-Procedure Care: Provide post-procedure support to patients, ensuring they are stable, comfortable, and recover appropriately. Assist patients with dressing and post-procedure instructions. Ensure that patients are safely discharged with appropriate follow-up information.
