About the Role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Structural Engineer to join a leading structural steel company based in Manchester. This role involves working on a diverse range of structural steel projects, covering all stages from design and analysis through to construction. The position offers the chance to apply your expertise within a dynamic and growing organisation, making a real impact on high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyse structural steel components, ensuring compliance with safety, industry, and client standards.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate project feasibility, quality, and safety.
Work closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide technical expertise.
Prepare and review technical documentation, calculations, and project reports.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, ensuring best practices in structural engineering and steel fabrication are followed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
At least 3 years' experience in structural engineering, ideally within structural steel projects.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit).
Strong knowledge of relevant building codes and industry regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently manage tasks.
