This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading transport company in a friendly, flexible finance team for a period of up to 12 months covering maternity leave.

• Reporting to the Transaction Processing Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Assistant will provide a timely and accurate transaction processing service for supplier and purchase invoices:
• Ensuring payment and receipt processing activities are carried out in a timely and accurate manner
• Supplier and customer query resolution
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Ensure that VAT inputs and outputs are accurately identified

The successful candidate for the role of Accounts Payable Assistant will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of Accounts Payable processing, payment runs and mail box management.

This is a hybrid role - currently one day per week in the office based near London Bridge/Monument .  Working hours are flexible - 37.5 hours per week within core hours of 8am-5pm.
