Location:  Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan

Hours: 40, Monday – Friday 8.00 am – 4.00 pm or 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

HCR has teamed up with a reputable care home provider leading the search for a Care Home Manager. The residential care home is a stunning grade-listed building and has been operating since 1987. The Care home is under new ownership, and we are now seeking a Care Home Manager to maintain it excellent standards having recently received a glowing CIW inspection

Care Home Manager Duties:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure safe, effective care
  • Protect residents from avoidable harm and abuse
  • Manage all aspects of risk for service users
  • Ensure proper medication management and documentation
  • Conduct quality and safety monitoring checks
  • Handle MCA assessments and DOLS applications
  • Promote and organise social activities

Care Home Manager Requirements

  • We require the ideal Care Home Manager to have an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Leadership or RMA equivalent
  • To have recent experience in working in a leadership or management role in an elderly residential care home setting
