Platform Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturer specialising in the development of bespoke special purpose machinery. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join on a contract basis as soon as possible.

Overview:

• Rate: Negotiable
• Start date: Immediate
• Length: Initial 3 months
• Location: Cambridge - Onsite
• IR35 Status: Small company exemption

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience managing end-to-end product development
• Strong 3D CAD skills (Solidworks)
• Produce manufacturing drawings
• Experienced in designing special purpose machinery/capital equipment
• Knowledge of fabrication, machining and assembly techniques
