Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30

Start Date: Immediate, ongoing basis for the academic year

Responsibilities:

- Assist teaching staff in planning and preparing lessons tailored to individual student needs.

- Create and organise resources for teaching and therapy sessions.

- Support students within the classroom and during unstructured times.

- Maintain detailed case notes and student profiles.

- Follow school procedures in reporting incidents and safeguarding concerns.

- Collaborate with staff to reinforce learning targets throughout the day.

- Provide support to colleagues working with students.

- Participate in supervision and training as required.

Requirements:

- Experience working with individuals with special educational needs.

- Driving license and access to a vehicle.

- Confidence in managing challenging behaviours.
