Role Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical systems within our client's facilities. You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, and other mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems.

* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.

* Collaborate with the team to design and implement improvements to existing systems.

* Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

* Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other staff members.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within a facilities management environment.

* Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

* Relevant certifications and qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, HVAC certifications) are desirable.
