  • Oversees the production for all banquet and catering events, ensuring that the required mise-en-place and finished products are produced and delivered to the appropriate areas.
  • Develop new menus, prepares, tests and tastes new menu items in collaboration of the Executive Chef
  • Ensures the events culinary team works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments
  • Review banquet event orders (BEO) on daily basis and make not of any changes.
  • Assists in the inventory management and ongoing maintenance of hotel operating equipment and other assets
  • Assist the Executive Chef in banquet menu development and execution.
  • Able to plan and execute multiple banquet functions.
  • Prepares and updates the Departmental Operations Manual

Required Skills:

  • Able to plan and execute multiple banquet functions.
  • Knowledgeable about all local health and safety regulation.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing people.
  • Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ability to work independently with a can-do attitude.
