Job Profile:
As Patient Support Coordinator you are responsible for ensuring all patient referrals are processed and appointments are booked efficiently in accordance with The London Clinic policies. The Patient Support Coordinator will undertake all administrative activities required, along with providing excellent customer care to patients.

- Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday
- Job Location: 22 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6JA.
- Salary: £27,500 - £32,550 per annum.

Key Duties:
- Work closely with the nursing team, pharmacy, consultants and secretaries to provide support in the patient referral pathway.
- Act as point of contact for all patients ensuring a professional and efficient service.
- Confirming receipt of referrals and registration for all patients referred for Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy, Hematology and Molecular Radiotherapy.
- Request dataset, medical images and previous treatment information from other secretaries and hospitals.
- Liaising with the internal Patient Liaison Office (PLO) to ensure insurer authorisation or self-payment is sought to allow bookings to proceed.
- Work respectfully with all team members, ensuring that clear communication and effective working relations are maintained.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience of handling a diverse workload in a busy administrative setting; healthcare industry administrative background with a knowledge of doctors practice, ideally private practice, desirable.
- Ability to work effectively with people from a range of diverse backgrounds, as well as a range of healthcare professionals.
- Strong sense of patient focus and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a hospital setting.
- Able to handle patient data and information in a confidential and sensitive manner.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure, prioritising tasks and work under self-direction.
- Cash/Credit Card handling.
