We are currently working with a Primary School is located in Bromley. Our client is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic full time Teaching Assistant to be part of their dedicated team and support their children.

This school provides a caring and stimulating learning environment, enabling all their children to thrive, learn and enjoy their time at school.

The successful candidate will be involved in supporting the whole class by supporting children both one to one as well as a small group basis. You will also provide general support to our teaching staff by assisting with classroom organisation, practical preparation for lessons or assessments as directed by the class teacher.

Our client is looking for that special someone who is passionate, caring, highly motivated and has a good sense of humour.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build productive relationships with pupils, acting as a positive role model and setting high expectations.

* Recognize and respond to individual needs, providing consistent support.

* Encourage cooperation and interaction among pupils, engaging them in activities

* Promote independence and reward self-reliance and achievement.

* Provide feedback on progress and achievement.

* Supervise pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and fostering independent interaction.

* Promote good behaviour, handle conflicts swiftly, and encourage personal responsibility for behaviour.

* Collaborate with the teacher to create a positive learning environment, assist in lesson planning, and evaluate pupil progress.

* Monitor pupil responses and track achievements based on learning objectives.

The Ideal Candidate - Qualifications & Experience:

* Good standard of education. GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

* Experience of delivering whole class teaching.

* A holistic approach to the well-being and education of pupils

* The ability to challenge and engage children in their learning through creative opportunities, with high levels of expectations of all learners

* Ability to think creatively to deliver learning, to fulfil the school's vision
