Rapier Employment are currently seeking Drivers Mates for our busy Home Delivery client based in Tingley, Leeds for ongoing work.For this role you will ideally be based within a 30-minute commute of Tingley with your own transport due to the start times and no public transport at these times.
Rates of Pay: Hours - 03:30am – 08:00am starts.
- Monday to Friday
On site you will need to pass a drug and alcohol test. This will be followed by a Driving and Theory assessment and full training must be completed before commencing the role. The training begins on Monday 11th March and is a 2-week training process. The first week is site/classroom based, followed by a week on the road with a crew gaining real time experience, learning all manual handling techniques and how to safely deliver the kegs as when driving the vehicle as part of a two-man crew.
ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION: - Delivery of kegs and beverages to hospitality venues as part of a two-person crew.
- Role requires manual handling and lifting of heavy items.
- Physical fitness for loading and unloading goods.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety procedure.
- Loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment.
- Ensuring the proper securing of loads for transportation
