Civil and Structural Engineer

Location:

Job Duties:

Designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects
Analysing survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects
Ensuring projects comply with building regulations and health and safety standards
Managing budgets and project resources
Inspecting properties to evaluate structural condition
Collaborating with architects and other professionals
Providing technical advice and solving complex problems

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Chartered Engineer status
Experience in structural design and analysis

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in civil and structural engineering

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD and structural design software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of construction methods and materials

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Previous experience working on infrastructure projects

Working Conditions:

Office-based work with site visits as required
May involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Regular interactions with clients, contractors, and other professionals
Tight project deadlines may require additional hours
