RM Recruit are excited to be working with a highly regarded Coventry based organisation who are seeking an Finance Business Partner to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Our client is offering a hybrid working arrangement with the office presence set at four days per week and one day working from home along with a competitive salary.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the full day-to-day finance function.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Perform month-end duties such as journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Assist with daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Managing credit control and aged debtors
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate records.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Help monitor cash flow and manage expense claims and reimbursements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team and assist with audits.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
The ideal candidate will be part-qualified ACCA/CIMA with experience in a fast-paced finance environment. You will have strong attention to detail, a personable approach, and the ability to build relationships easily. A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and effective teamwork are essential. You will be a confident communicator, capable of prioritising workload efficiently and effectively.
