We are currently working with a Multi Academy Trust based in Birmingham who are looking to take on a Payroll and Pensions Manager on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary banding of £40,000-£45,000 and a hybrid working model and the client is happy to wait out a notice period for the right candidate. The successful candidate will have experience with LGPS and Teacher’s Pensions and will have a background in Public Sector organisations. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Leading two Payrolls totaling to 2,200 employees monthly, full end to end and full data checks
• Administering LGPS and Teacher’s Pensions
• Acting as lead contact for all pension funds, third parties and HMRC
• Direct line management on two members of staff
• Completing reconciliations for each monthly payroll, balancing and submitting returns

Experience required:

• Experience in Public Sector
• LGPS & Teacher’s Pensions

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Problem solving
• Attention to detail when checking data
