Are you a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? GSL Education Kent is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Dartford. This long-term role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, tailored education to students with a range of additional needs, helping them to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
Implement and adapt teaching strategies to support a variety of learning styles and abilities.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages confidence and independence.
Collaborate with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external specialists to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Assess and track student progress, adapting lesson plans and strategies accordingly.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to learning.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant SEN teaching experience.
Previous experience working as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role.
A strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
Excellent communication, organisation, and collaboration skills.
A valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to the location of the school.
